Morgan insisted on taking her guinea pig, Marshmallow, to the grocery store with us. She proudly showed him to everyone we passed as we hurried down the aisles. Most people ignored her, a few took a second look, but the lady re-filling the milk talked to her. Morgan explained this was her pet and its name was Marshmallow. The lady then asked if she liked to eat marshmallows. Morgan got the most disgusted look on her face and she quickly said no. She hugged her beloved pet and as we turned down another aisle she assured her guinea pig that she would never eat him.
